As my first post, I would like to share the story behind the birth of this website and my goals for its future. I bought this domain name my senior year of college for an assignment in a web design class. Once the semester ended, and I graduated, I decided to take my professor’s advice. He encouraged us to manage the sites that we built for our own personal benefit. My site’s purpose is to act as a multi-functional writing outlet along with a work portfolio gallery. It’s great because it brings together my two interests: literature and technology. Since a majority of my work is meant to be seen on a screen, I feel there is no better way to showcase it than on my own webpage. As I establish myself professionally, I have designed this site to display my work and curate an outlet for me to create new written content.
